We have chosen the name “Kayak 4 a Kure” as we shall hope to raise $500,000.00 in donations from individuals and companies for Children's Cancer Research Programs.

We are a Nonprofit Organization incorporated in the State of Texas. We have filed for 501 (c)(3) status and are awaiting for the paperwork to come back.

The cancer cure rate for leukemia in children has risen from 4% to over 80% cure rate at present. With your help hopefully we can find a total cure for this type of cancer and help to fund research that would find cures for other childhood type cancers.

In one of the many ways to accomplish this we have teamed up with the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Here is where the money goes.

• Children's Cancer Research portion above goes to Children's Medical Center Dallas | The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. (We were sent a cease and desist letter from the other Hospital since they do not want to be associated with any "Point to Point Fundraising" activity. The hospital states that they do not want to have ANY liability in the unlikely event that any of the participants are injured during the expedition).

Team Kure publicly states that this expedition has been undertaken under our own free will and hold any and all entities harmless in any liability from injury, illness, loss, or loss of life as a result of particpating in this expedition.

• Our Expenses include such things as our phone, web site hosting, P.O. Box, promotional/marketing expenses. We do not pay any salaries to ourselves. As a matter of fact our month long trip in May is time not reimbursed by our employer.
• Its a great pleasure and honor to give to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
